Ms. Glenda Rhea

My name is Glenda Rhea . I have been working with children with unique needs for over 20 years. I have an extensive background in behavioral and play therapy principles and practices and working with children with developmental delays and ASD. I have a Masters in Education with a Specialization in Early Childhood Education. Our goals are to help each child reach their developmental goals in their natural environments, by implementing a creative and structural approach to meet the needs of each family.

Development field and have specialized in Early intervention.

 

Hola, mi nombre es Perla Ojeda. Tengo ocho años de experiencia trabajando con niños. Durante estos años me ha encantado mirar el desarrollo de los niños. He trabajado en el campo de desarrollo infantil, me he especializado en la intervención temprana.

 

I have earned an Associate of Science in Early

Childhood Education from West Los Angeles College.

I am currently attending Cal State Long Beach. I am pursuing a Liberal Studies degree. In the future I would like to become an elementary teacher.

Fun fact about me is that I love our family pets. We have three cats, one dog, a fish, and a gecko. I am a mother of two girls. I enjoy arts and crafts, paint and create sensory bins. I love to garden and plants.

 

Un dato interesante de mi es que amo a mis mascotas. Tengo tres gatos, un perro, un pez, y un gecko. Soy mamá de dos niñas. Me gusta crear cosas, y pintar. Me encanta pasar tiempo en el jardín y cuidar de mis plantas.

Klarissa Mendoza

I bring over 5 years of experience specializing in Early Intervention. My background has given me a strong foundation in child development, family support, and individualized care, with a passion for helping young children thrive in their natural environments.

 

I earned my Associate of Arts degrees in Social and Behavioral Science as well as Health and Fitness from Los Angeles Harbor College.

 

Fun Fact: Outside of work, love spending time outdoors, discovering new coffee spots, shopping, and exploring new places through traveling.

Ms. Jennifer

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I have spent the past six years working in early childhood education and supporting children with diverse developmental needs. 

 

I am passionate about supporting children's development through play-based approaches.

 

Fun fact: I love activities that allow creative freedom.

Cynthia Lopez

​

Currently I am 27 years old and a first generation college student. I received my Bachelors in Human Development from the University of California, San Diego in 2021. Shortly after I participated in the C.O.R.E Fellowship for an entire year learning from a variety of clinicians such as ABA Therapist, Speech, Physical and Occupational Therapist from USC, Children's Hospital and more. Once we completed training, I then transitioned into my placement in Early Intervention at a Pediatric Clinic in Hawthrone where I spent a year and 9 months as a Teacher running the sensory classroom. 

 

This fellowship and placement led me to where I am currently in which is my Master's program for Occupational Therapy at Stanbridge University in Irvine. As of now I am going on 10 months into my program and just completed my Level 1 Fieldwork at a Pediatric clinic. 

 

My ultimate goal is to be a Pediatric O.T. in a Hospital or Clinical Setting.
